2×2 Cinch Insert – 18″

This product is not required for current racks.  This 2×2 insert tube for Shuttleracks sold before May 2021 allows you to eliminate the external anti-wobble clamp.  The cinch insert has a bolt at the end of the tube that moves the wedge at the other end of the tube.  As the bolt is tightened, the wedge binds against the insert of your hitch receiver, holding the pivot firmly in place.

Note that the 18″ tube length is only recommended for vehicles that need clearance behind the vehicle for a spare tire.  See the dimensions in the image gallery below.
